I love style. I'm a big fan of expressing myself through fashion. I worked retail for years and now I work for an intimates and apparel company, so I've been finding ways to stuff my closet to the brim on a budget for years. I'm doing my best to dress like the adult woman I am, and it certainly is a journey.

Sometimes I want to have the style of a 19 year old influencer with no job who goes to school part time and jets off to gorgeous destinations, but that's not my life. I have a full time job where the dress code is loosely business casual. The goal most of the time is to look as good as the girls in The Bold Type, although I cannot get away with as much midriff.

The modern women has a lot of expectations to meet when it comes fashion today. Follow the trends, don't be a follower. Be sexy, don't be sleazy. Be appropriate but not boring. 

I'm doing my best to explore the world of fashion, battling my low self esteem and my empty wallet. Let's see how I do.
